After falling for Alexander and Alexia in book one, I suspected that things may take a turn for the worse in the second book. After all who's going to read a series where everyone is always happy-go-lucky and in love without any of the drama?
However, this book did not go quite as I expected. While in Dubai, to check on the status of one of his hotels, Alexander and Alexia are forced to deal with some issues from their pasts. As more details of Alexander's sordid history comes to the forefront Alexia starts to doubt her place in his world, not that I blame her. How can this handsome, wealthy, playboy ever really settle down? As these fears continue to weigh on Alexia, Alexander begins to show a pattern of possessive and domineering behavior.
When they return to Zurich, Alexia's worst fears are confirmed when she finds Alexander in a compromising position with a woman from his past. Will these two be able to work past their issues and find love with one another? At this point I'm not so sure.
Thank goodness I already have the third book so I can jump right back into their story and get some answers:)

This storyline gets better and better. It really pulls you in so there’s no way you’re not gonna read the next episode. It’s even better than a soap opera and a heck of a lot sexier
Just finished Volume 2 and this books just keeps getting better and better, so sexy so hot. Alexander and Alexia have spent the majority of time in Dubai. The author has kept us glued to the story now however we see Alexander is a jealous person and wants Alexia to himself, she is worried it will not last. I must get volume 3 now to see how this is going to go since Alexia has agreed to move in with Alexander.
Very disappointed Alexia in the first book seemed somewhat strong in this book she was totally weak. Alexander showed so many signs of the past especially the lunch date and she still looked over it. Hopefully book 3 will be better.
I know that this relationship is new to Alexander but the scene became quite repetitive and the characters spoke like juveniles. They were always fighting and then making up and then doubting each other. I couldn't wait to be done with this book. Hopefully the next will be better.

Easily to read, with some tingly erotic chapters, the book is the entrance ticket for Alexias emotional roller coaster.
And she takes you with her. The story is tenderly accompanied by pieces of music and the local color of gorgeous places. Written highly emotional with a sense of humour it delivers the message that the strongest stimulus in our lives is - LOVE.

This book starts with Alexia & Alexander traveling to Dubai after someone bombs one of Alexander's hotels. This book was a roller coaster ride. Alexia & Alexander were like fire and ice. Their love is so passionate that they come together like fire. But when the secrets and jealousy come into play they turn into ice. This book ends with Alexander in a very compromising possession. It breaks Alexia's heart and makes her question everything. Another great read.
This series is great!! Alexander and alexia are definitely in love .. However; they both definitely have 'TRUST ISSUES!' Like.. They may need therapy! lol ;)
Alexia - she is so sweet and beautiful.. She doesn't do 'one night stands and casual hookups! She is a relationship kinda girl.. Looking for that 'HEA'
Alexander- alpha male billionaire and man whore who doesn't do relationships.. Never has had a girlfriend before!!
So in vol 2 it picks up where alexia goes to dubia with Alexander and ,yes.. It seems their pasts just keep haunting them and trying to break this couple up!
I feel sorry for Alexander .. I know- man whore/ womanizer, but that was his 'PAST'!!!! Alexia can not let it go.. It is like everytime he does anything she is throwing his past in his face.. YES HE HAD A LIFE BEFORE HER!! She knew this, wake up... Alexia!! I really want to shake her at times, she comes across as a 'goodie - goodie.. Yet, when she is seen out w/ her 1 st boyfriend and the one who took her 'V' card.. He asks her out and she can not even say 'NO I HAVE A BOYFRIEND AND I AM W HIM HERE???!!!!
Not until Alexander comes up while they are talking does she introduce him as her boyfriend! (It seems like they both get jealous but at different things.. Alexander for his past.. And alexia because she is Soo nice, she doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings...
And I am sorry.. The cliffhanger, give me a break, if she couldn't smell a set up.... She is SUPER NAÏVE!!
Ex demands she comes out to his car (she does but sneaks put so Alexander doesn't get mad) yet when she comes into the house she sees Alexander pushing Venessa off of him, yet she runs an jumps right into her 'ex boyfriend car... How convenient!!
Can't wait for next bk!!
